Pittsburgh Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center

The Community Advisory Board of the Pepper Registry consists of participants in the Registry as well as community members with an interest in aging and research. The Board meets 2-3 times a year to advise Pepper Center faculty on the operation of the Registry, including recruitment, use of the Registry for research, and quality of recruitment efforts. Participants also serve as research "mystery shoppers," reporting back to investigators on the accessibility of recruitment materials and the potential burden of research assessments. The Community Advisory Board is critical element in the Pepper Center. If you have an interest in joining the Board or would like to learn more about it please contact Dr. Steven Albert.
